Integration Quest's Commitment to Keeping iQ MuleSoft Study groups safe

We at Integration Quest sincerely apologize for the recent security incident during one of our Zoom meetings. We understand that this incident may have caused concern and disruption, and we are taking steps to ensure that something like this does not happen again.

What Happened

At our last MuleSoft Study Group, an individual was able to disrupt the meeting by broadcasting offensive content. Cyber attacks targeted Zoom meetings are known as Zoom bombing cyber attacks.

Our Response

As soon as we learned of the incident, we immediately secured our Zoom account and prevented further unauthorized access. We also investigated the incident to determine how the vulnerability was exploited and what steps we can take to avoid similar incidents in the future. Zoom Video Communications, Inc. has reviewed our report, and where appropriate, they are taking action on the disruptor based on the investigation.

Steps We Are Taking

We are taking the following steps to improve our cybersecurity posture:

• We are implementing additional security measures based on Zoom Best Practices and Security Standards for our Zoom accounts.
• We are reviewing our cybersecurity policies and procedures.

To join our next study group:

• Create a free Zoom account to use for our study groups
• Register in advance using Eventbrite 
• Look for a Zoom invitation in your email within 24 hours. 
• Register in advance on Zoom 
• Five minutes before the Study Group start time, join the Zoom event.
